Scott from Coffee Mill along with Terry from Sam and Evans were able to attend and serve up some great Guatemala coffee at this event.

The Rose Schaffhausen Friends of the Orphans Award is presented to a person(s) who has embraced our mission, furthered our cause, and continues to cherish our NPH children daily. This award is appropriately named after Rose Schaffhausen, our founder and mentor. Her tireless efforts, warm heart, and tenacity inspire us all.

This year we honor Helene Houle, who has made outstanding life-long gifts to our NPH family. She helped build Casa Helene, a home for our growing young girls in Mexico who previously had lived with the young children in crowded dorms. Helene also supports NPH’s healthcare needs with generous gifts to Haiti’s St. Damien Hospital and Honduras’ Holy Family Surgery Center. Helene and John Nasseff were given the prestigious “Outstanding Community Donors” award in 2013 from the American Fundraising Professionals through acknowledgement of their work with NPH.
